Geçen günlerde İskoçya yardımcı antrenörü Terry Butcher'ın Maradona ile ilgili açıklamalarına yer vermiştik. Butcher; o bizden kupayı çaldı, biz üzülerken onlar kupayı kaldırıyorlardı falan demişti. Bugün de maç öncesi Maradona cevabı vermiş sorulan soru üzerine;
